If you happen to read this through the crosspost to my personal LiveJournal, you’ve been missing some great […]

In Jennifers' Head?

I'm thinking about setting up a calendar for my writing. I need a bit of structure to goad me into actually meeting my goals.

I'm also thinking about marketing and business models. There's some thought bouncing around in here about treating writing like a business. I'm thinking about traditional publishing and self publishing and why there's a stigma attached to one but not the other.

I'm thinking about all the things I need to get done, the things I need to write and revise and send to the Voluptuaries and the feedback I need to poke people about and finding a therapist and setting a budget and growing tomatoes. I'm thinking about food and the quality of my sleep. I'm thinking about gas and air conditioning and facing my fears.

I'm thinking about what story I want to tell.
